Accessibility statement

Website accessibility adjustments, keyboard navigation, display preferences and ways to contact Meskin & Even Haim about accessibility.

Statement updated:

Our approach and the scope of this statement

Meskin & Even Haim aims to provide an accessible service and make the website’s information usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility work targets Israeli Standard 5568 Part 1 at level AA, alongside relevant WCAG guidance.

This statement describes the adjustments implemented on this website. It is not a certification or a declaration of complete conformance: a comprehensive independent accessibility assessment and assistive-technology testing have not yet been completed.

Adjustments available on the website

  • Hebrew, English and Russian pages with the correct reading direction, headings, landmarks and descriptive text alternatives for photographs.
  • Keyboard-operable links, buttons and forms, a skip-to-content link and visible keyboard focus.
  • A labelled accessibility dialog with keyboard navigation, Escape to close and focus returning to the opening button.
  • Optional text sizes of 100%, 125%, 150% and 200%; high contrast, inverted colours and grayscale; underlined links, highlighted headings, reading spacing and a plain readable font; reduced motion, a keyboard-focus highlight and a large cursor.
  • The website has no video, no flashing content and nothing that plays automatically; the only animation is the slow change of words in the home-page headline, which the system or panel setting stops.
  • Browser zoom remains available. The operating system’s reduced-motion preference is respected without using the accessibility panel.
  • Preference reset is available in the panel. Settings are saved only in this browser where storage is available, with no external accessibility service or tracking.

How to navigate

Use Tab to move forward between controls and Shift + Tab to move back. Activate links with Enter, and buttons with Enter or Space. Use the arrow keys in the text-size selector. Escape closes the accessibility dialog.

The first keyboard link skips directly to the main content. You do not need to turn on a special mode to use keyboard navigation or your own screen reader. Browser zoom is available with Ctrl or Command (⌘) and + / −.

Scope, limitations and alternative contact

On 12 October 2026 every page in Hebrew, English and Russian was checked automatically against WCAG 2.1 level AA (axe-core) in Chrome, including the mobile menu, the accessibility dialog, high-contrast mode, form error messages, the calculators and display at 320 pixels wide, with no failures found. Page structure, image descriptions, form labels and keyboard focus were also reviewed. These checks do not replace a full manual review using screen readers, different browsers and assistive technologies.

The enquiry form is sent to the office mailbox; if sending fails, the form offers to send the details on WhatsApp or to call. WhatsApp and Google Maps are external services outside the office’s control. If you encounter difficulty, you can contact the office directly by email or phone and describe the information or service you need.

Accessibility at the office

Please include the page address, a description of the difficulty, the action you were trying to perform and your preferred way to receive a reply. Browser, device and assistive-technology details are helpful if known. There is no need to send medical records or sensitive information.
