Who is responsible

What is collected

• The contact form: your name and phone number and, if you choose, a subject, a short description and how you heard about us. You are not obliged to provide them, but without a name and number we cannot get back to you.
• Technical data: as with any website, the server receives your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is used to run and secure the site. The IP address is also used to limit how many enquiries the form accepts, and for that is held briefly in the server's memory.

The site does not ask for medical information. Please leave medical details out of the form; we will go through them with you in a meeting.

How it is used

To get back to you, look at your enquiry and arrange a meeting. Your information is not used for marketing, is never sold and is not passed to others, except the service providers listed below and where the law requires it.

Who receives it

• Resend, the email service that delivers the form to the firm's mailbox.
• Google Workspace, where the firm's mailbox is hosted.
• Vercel, which hosts the website.

These providers process the information for the firm only, some of them on servers outside Israel. WhatsApp and Google Maps links take you to outside services, which have their own privacy policies.

Retention and security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to enquiries is limited to the firm's staff. An enquiry that did not lead to further work is kept only as long as it is needed. Client information is kept as the law requires of lawyers.

Your rights

Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may see the information the firm holds about you, and ask for information that is incorrect, incomplete, unclear or out of date to be corrected or deleted. You may also ask us to delete an enquiry you sent through the website. Send requests to info@melawoffice.co.il.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is the accessibility settings you choose, such as text size, so they carry over between pages. These settings are not sent to us.

The calculators work in your browser only. What you enter is neither stored nor sent.
